Clanging street-ca'rs,
A pulsing head,
The neighbor's radio,
A squeaky bed,
Out-of-place furniture, Curled up rugs,
Mosquitoes, and other Belligerent bugs,
Awkward bundles,
A leaky tap,
And curtains that blow
In the wind, and flap
If items too minor
To merit mention
All get their share
Of your attention,
Why shouldn't I
With polite persistence
Keep you aware
Of my existence?
