Oh, thank you Mr. Currier,
 And thank you Mr. Ives!
Your bathtub's never furry or
 Your women shaped like fives.
 You do not deal in parables
 From nightmare-ridden dreams,
 Or elongate our wearables
Then only paint the seams.
Your men are men, unquakingly
 They brave a roaring gale.
They drive a horse unbreakingly,
 Or carve a conquered whale.
Your women never hurry or
 Forget to smile as wives.
Oh; unsubconscious Currier,
 Unintroverted Ives!
