George Washington's words of wisdom

It is better to be alone than in bad company.
Think before you speak. In your apparel be modest.
Wherein you reprove another, be unblamable yourself.
Let your heart feel for the afflictions and distresses of everyone.
Be courteous to all, but intimate with few; true friendship is a plant of slow growth.
